When

4 to 6 p.m., April 22, 2022

Where

Join us to celebrate Earth Day as we connect movement and breath, mind and body in a yoga and meditation session that will help you feel grounded and centered.
As we approach the end of the semester, incorporating self-care practices is vital for easing the completion of the past few months of studying and hard work. The yoga and meditation that will be offered is gentle and restorative. No prior experience with yoga or meditation is needed, and the movement will be relaxing, not vigorous or challenging. Somatic and self-regulation techniques will be offered to help your nervous system start the relaxation response. We'll learn a little bit about the physiology of stress and how the practices of yoga and meditation can help us feel grounded and centered. The workshop will include live music to help you settle into a vibe that will send you into your weekend feeling rejuvenated, refreshed and ready to take on whatever comes next.  Bring a journal with you, your mat or a towel and join us!  You are welcome as you are! Bring a friend!

Facilitators: Alba Porras and Jeff Schlueter

This session is offered at no charge, however, please pre-register to reserve your spot!
