A Retreat on Queer Joy

Come resource yourself with queer magic, beauty, and brilliance, which is no small feat in these times of attack and violence. We will explore queer joy and brilliance-naming, sharing, and celebrating the unique contributions, resilience, and leadership of our community. We will move freely and expressively, and we will rest deeply. We will practice breathing techniques that can keep yourself uplifted when times are hard. We will laugh together and we will connect with one another's beautiful hearts.

All members of the local LGBTIQQA2S+ community are invited to this free yoga retreat led by Jacoby Ballard, author of A Queer Dharma: Yoga and Meditations for Liberation. No prior experience in yoga or meditation is necessary; just bring your heart and body as they are. Come alone or come with a friend, and feel welcome to take up space in community.

This is a FREE event, and no special equipment needed. Yoga mats and blankets will be provided
