Special Yoga Nidra Session!
Join us to wind down the Fall semester with a deep guided relaxation practice that supports awareness while encouraging the nervous system to release and settle deeply. Yoga Nidra is a form of developing greater self-awareness that does not involve movement of the body. Rather, the body remains in stillness, in a deeply relaxed way, while the mind is guided through a progressively deeper exploration of experience. A favorite of students and those who find themselves with full schedules that go into the late hours, this practice provides the nervous system deep rejuvenation and rest while fully awake and alert, so that when complete, a sense of feeling refreshed and renewed allows for continued study or whatever may be ahead of you for the rest of the day. No prior experience is needed and all are welcome!
